Three Rivers School eighth grade class is holding a car wash and bake sale to raise funds for its promotion activities. Saturday, May 25th, 10 am to 3 pm, across from Three Rivers School in the Sunriver Business Park. Just follow the signs. Help support these local kids as they "grow up" from middle school to high school. Donations are welcome.

Sunriver Brewing Company's brewmaster will present a talk about the brewery's approach to beer making. Sunriver Brewing opened its doors in 2012 in The Village at Sunriver. and soon began brewing its own craft beers. The brewery is planning to build its own brewing facility in the Sunriver Business Park, complete with a tasting pub.

Kids and their families are invited to the Sunriver Youth FREE Fishing Day, Saturday, June 1st, at Obsidian Lake at Caldera Springs!

Event includes fishing for trout*, storytelling in the salmon tent, fish printing and tattoos, casting practice, live displays of fish and other aquatic life, the famous talking trout, fish anatomy, and other fun activities.

*Fishing in the stocked lake is limited to children 14 years of age and younger. Bringing your own fishing equipment is encouraged but not required. (Some equipment will be available for use at the lake.)

Registration is from 9 to 10:30 am. All fishing ends at 12 pm.

FREE hot dog lunch, sponsored by Sunriver Resort, ends at 1 pm.

Grab your golf clubs and swing into spring at the PRECISION Body & Paint Swings for Strings Golf Tournament, Sunday, June 2nd, presented by Sunriver Resort. The junior and adult tournaments are staggered a day. Junior matches begin at 8am, June 13 and adult matches begin around 12pm, June 14. Players are limited to a total of one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles event between the two tournaments. As always, juniors are invited to play in the adult tournament. Juniors will be considered a minimum of NTRP 3.5 when determining the adult division to play. If in doubt, rate yourself higher and give us "seniors" a fighting chance! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE TOURNAMENT! PLEASE CALL EMILY AT 541-585-3145 TO SIGN UP Tournament Perks! Each player receives a T-shirt and welcome gift for each tournament, free lunches, snacks and drinks throughout the day. In it’s 17th year, the Pacific Crest Weekend is hailed as the premier Northwest event by regional athletes as well as becoming a destination race for athletes and their families from across the nation. Bring your family and friends, this is an event you will not want to miss!

The Course
Marathon (26.2-miles) & Half-Marathon (13.1-miles): Circles Sunriver Resort on widely paved very scenic bike paths. Marathoners will receive their Half-Marathon split when traveling through the Athlete Village, before heading out on the second loop of this beautiful scenic course that will take you through meadows and forests, past rivers, and beautifully landscaped golf greens and summer homes. All miles will be marked. Water stations and Porta-Potties every mile.

The New Generations Early Childhood Development Center will be host to the annual Sunriver 4th of July Festival on Thursday, July 4th, from 10:30am-4pm. The Sunriver 4thof July Festival will kick off with a bike and float parade beginning at the Sunriver Resort and finishing in the middle of the Village mall. Make sure to decorate your bike in red, white, and blue and register your creation to be eligible for a great prize. Experience the fun and excitement of riding a pony, and climbing a rock wall. As well as seeing a fire engine up close, racing to win the watermelon eating competition, running a 3-legged race with a police officer, and watching live bands, all on the same day as our nation’s birthday!
