Event Description:
Who: The Sunriver Mudslinger
What: A non-competitive 1.5-mile mud run through obstacles and mud pits. Suitable for families
When: Sunday, March 24, 11 AM-1 PM
Where: Sunriver Marina, 57235 River Road, Sunriver.
Why: To get dirty and have fun
How: Registration available March 1-23 at www.sunrivermudslinger.com
What you get: One drink voucher for an age-appropriate beverage, dog tags for completing the race, access to changing tents and a fire hose rinse-off. Bragging rights.
Cost: Advance registration $20 for adults (12 & over), $12 children (ages 4-11). Day of race registration $25 for adults, $17 for children.
Registration details: Online at www.sunrivermudslinger.com March 1-23. In person registration and packet pick up March 23, 11 a.m. -3 p.m. at The Village at Sunriver Ice Skating Rink. Day of race 9:30—10:30 a.m. near the Sunriver Marina.
Bring: 1. Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and may decide to throw away. 2. A towel to dry off with. 3. Dry clothes to change into after firefighters rinse contestants off with a fire hose.
Post-race activities: Food and beverage sales. Beer garden. Mudslinger t-shirts for sale.
